In March 2010, Peak began servicing their first clients. As the growth of PACE continued across the country, so did Peak’s reputation and presence. When the founders of AE retired in 2018, Capstone Performance Systems, a subsidiary of Tabula Rasa HealthCare, acquired Peak PACE. (Capstone had also begun as a subsidiary of Altitude Edge until being acquired by TRHC in 2014.)
Peak PACE became Peak Health Plan Management, a service line of Capstone, and continued to operate under founding CEO Patty Bailey. With a focus on operational effectiveness and enhanced efficiencies, Peak’s operations in 2019 were merged with those of eClusive, acquired by TRHC along with Mediture in 2018, and aligned with TRHC EMR/technology companies Cognify and Mediture.
The combined Peak-eClusive organization was named PeakTPA. The transition enables PeakTPA to work more closely on with Cognify and Mediture, systems that influence its success. Although its clientele is not limited to the PACE market, PeakTPA is noted for its staff’s expertise in PACE, including executive-level staff who worked in PACE organizations. PeakTPA is based in St. Louis, Missouri, and maintains an office in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
